À l'origine, c'est une rencontre humaine entre deux musiciens qui se croisent dans divers festivals et partagent quelques points communs musicaux.

Surgit ensuite l'idée d'essayer de jouer ensemble en partageant énergie rock et manipulation électroacoustique, batterie amplifiée et bandes distortionnées, feedback et réinjection, récupération et détournement…

Pour pimenter ce duo, une grande boucle magnétique est installée sur deux magnétophones supplémentaires pour créer une mémoire aléatoire, retardée et instable, agissant comme un miroir déformant.

Originally meeting by chance at various festivals, we found that we share common musical interests.

Then we decided to try playing together, sharing rock energy and electroacoustic manipulation, amplified drums and distorted tape, feedback and re-injection, live processing and détournement.

A large tape loop was also set up on two supplementary reel-to-reel tape recorders to create a random memory, delayed and unstable, acting like a distorting mirror.

En parallèle à ce duo, ils ont aussi développé un autre projet plus lié à la musique concrète. Ils enregistrent des sons de montage technique de spectacle, ils composent dans l'espace même de la captation et rediffusent en multipistes toujours dans le même espace. Une mise en abyme des gestes et des paroles de technicien.ne.s d'habitude inaudibles.

Une version performance est en cours de réalisation et sera créée en novembre 2023 à la POP à Paris.

In parallel to this duo, they have also developed another project more related to musique concrète. They record the sounds of the technical set-up of a show, they compose in the very space of the recording and replay the work in multi-tracks always in the same space. A mise en abyme of the gestures and words of technicians who are usually inaudible.

A performance version is currently being produced and will be premiered in November 2023 at the POP in Paris.
